How do I install .tar.bz2 files in DM8000 (some driver files are in this format)? Is it the same way as .ipk, putting it in .tmp and then install from Addons menu with the remote? Or with telnet?

It depends if the image you use accepts this file extension.

Thank you m8. By the way, do you know how to install it in DreamEliteBH 133? Itīs an older image, not supported any more, but I think about installing it in flash.

Not many need these now - Peter Pan does and some older images[EDG or SIF?} - rest use tar.gz. or are E2 and ipk or mips. Dont try and rename them - many[if not all] wont respond to this, unlike renaming an MGcamd 35a. to 35a.mips for example. Pli is good in flash as well but only if you can telnet the addons in cos I cant get FTP to do it!! Peter pan ones can still be served on line for most emus/addons and also have a good manual install. Good luck - Brain

If you have a file you want to install to a particular image the let me know and I can pack it for you.
So if you want a .nab .del or .gz let me know and I will try and help you out.

As for old dream elite image then I have all you will need for them.

I want to install a driver file to DM8000, but the newest I can get is in .tar.bz2 format. Can you tell me where to get the newest drivers for DM8000 in .ipk - thatīs the format I can install in DreamEliteBH 133 from Addons menu?
