are all azoxes able to blind scan and decode 422 feeds?looking to get seconhand one. but want the one that can do both. any help on wot to look out for please

the PREMIUM PLUS can hardware blindscan, and do 4.2.2 feeds.

the PREMIUM and ELITE can't do blindscan, and do 4.2.2 feeds.

urm, i would say so.

there is now E2 available, but only recently, so its support is growing, the original firmware is tried and tested re 4.2.2 feeds, it can play any file you throw at it - media wise (firmware dependant)

i bought a premium with a faulty HDD connector (so i cant ever use an internal disk) for £175 - which suits me, i only wanted it for the TNA 4.2.2 feeds.

wots tna?would like too feed hunt. so blind scan and 422 would be good. can it still do both with e2? also can ccam run with old and new fimware e2? many thanks so far. do not want to waste money. would be great if it can do wot my dm 800 can do plus feed hunt

I am just curious.Can premium plus do hardware blindscan ?

AZbox E2 currently does not support hardware blindscan although it will decode 4:2:2 feeds.

as far as i know, elite and premium kan also do blindscan, but much slower cause they can do it not by hardware but only by software

the original \ standard firmware doesn't AUTO find the signal without having to faff about with freq, h\v, qpsk or pilot on\off etc etc, does the e2 AUTO FIND the signal...? and therefore make tuning in much quicker.

E2 in general does not have blindscan sorted out yet. If and when it does, then those tuners that can do it - will do it... We'll see how well, though... ;)

HW blindscan in P= and Ultra also needs input of all the parameters or not?

As for 4:2:2 - how can it be seen in E2, guys? Precisely, please!

hi i can say that a few months ago e2 would not find a 4.2.2 football feed i was looking for and i had to revert back to the original fw to get the feed,dont know what the parameters were for the 4.2.2 feed as the 4.2.2 was working ok with e2,it was just a certain feed i was trying to get,there was a comment about this at the time,i now leave the original fw on just for this reason cheers
