I have a 1m motorised dish going to my DM8K, i've done the garage up so looking to add another box, DM800 etc.
Now i was wondering if the DM8K will let me loop through it to the DM800?
I understand (or atleast i think i do) That the cable from LNB will go into back of the DM8000 and theres an input/output on back that i can run cable from to another reciver?
Hope this is right? :respect-054:
Then when DM8K is in stand by the 2nd reciver will work motor?
Any advice would be a great help please? Is the DM8000 capable of this.
Thanks

Yes it can be done, but you have to configure Tuner B. You should make Configuration Mode 'Loopthrough to Socket A' in the Tuner B Setup procedure, and therfore you don't need another external connection like in other Receivers. Then connect your Lnb Cable coming from your Motor to Tuner 'A' of your 8000 and a cable from Tuner 'B' (of your 8000) to your Dreambox 800HD input Lnb. And yes whilst operating your 8000 you must have your other Dreambox in deep stand-by and vice versa. Another thing, try using Usals system for both Boxes because otherwise your motor won't work properly if you use Usals for one box and Diseqc 1.2 for the other. Please read page 58 Chapter 12.1.7 in your Dreambox 8000 Handbook to see the Configoration Mode.

Maybe with a Spliter ?
Or the Loop Function on lnb setup ?

Better splitter with smart operation.
There are splitter - switches that enable the last input that a voltage was changed on them.
So if you turn off dm800 and its on input B then the power will pass only from that one.

Ok thanks fpor replys, a little lost though.
I already have 3 tuners on dm8000 all being used.
1 for motoriesed dish and other 2 to sky dishes.

Ahh didn't know that you are using all of the 8000 Tuners...different story then. I used to use this system on two receivers with a 12 volts switch. The switch had an input for the incoming motor cable and two outputs (all F connectors) for the two receivers, But on one receiver I had a 12 volt output socket where I could insert the 12v lead from the switch to power it but today the Dreamboxes don't have this facility. I don't think with a splitter it could be done because a splitter is always active, whilst in your case you have to shut one port for one Receiver and open the other for your second Receiver.

Look for Johanson products and you will find the one i told you.
It usually called priority switch.
