I read recently that Channel 4HD is joining Freesat in April, so possibly this is it.

The soft launch was on 17th Feb. This where the service is running alongside the sly managed channel.
Here is the schedule for full launch:
17th February - Soft launch
21st - 28th February – Sky “switch” their EPG to point to the new Channel 4 HD service
10th March – The service switches from its current encrypted to a free to air state
1st April – The service launches on the Freesat platform

CH 4 HD is now only working via my freesat white card as i type .
maybbe will run fta again possibly i guess we can only wait 'n see ,

JUst done a blind scan on my spiderbox, no ch4 hd, or under 55300???.
can anyone confirm freq, symbol rate, fec, polarity, and current channel name please?

at the moment i have 55300 (c4hd) on 12606 v 27500 dvb-s2 qpsk

12606 will not get it - small slip here - try 12607 V 27500. If it doesnt appear in channels go to New ones - 55300. Cheers - Brain

I know its a feature of DB's to not find the odd channel but I have tried 12606 and 12607 - V and H 22000,27500, 28250 etc and still no CH4 HD. Does everyone but me now have it? lol - Brain

Yip, doing a install today & I noticed that on the **** HD box it cleared Ch4 HD without the viewing card inserted. So it's not like the ITV HD situation with a couple of regional variants encrypted & others not.
