HDD for DM500HD

thanks to you guys helped me with sorting my box out now i need to get a HDD for my box but need some advice what harddrive shall i get.

i got esate hdd 250gb im not sure if you can use ide ive got db500hd just went got hd got case for it pluged in db works all the time some1 correct me if im wrong thanks

I bought a 1tb off **** for 50 odd quid. Had a right game getting the right cable though had to order one of there also PC world didnt have a clue what I was talking about and sold me a red sata cable instead

i went to mays and got esata 2 sata and usb case had all cables in box £22.99 then got 250g hd £40.00 pluged in cable for sata put in hd connected red cable to hd there is only 1 slide it in case 4 screws in plug in black lead sata to sata turn on hd turn on db job done. thats how i did it 30mins all done thanks
