you dont really get the benifits of HD on a small screen .
it depends on your eyes more than the screen .
go to a big electical store and see for yourself what you like best , make notes of make and model and then go online to find the cheapest price .

as this person says go to a shop that have TVs on show and look at the pictures is the best way
but a lot of shops usually have the TV channels set on a hd channel via a freesat hd box so the picture is in hd ask them to change the channels so you can see them in none hd and so on
me Ive got a Sony bravia 40 inch even standard sky through a scart lead is a brill picture people have often asked if its hd nope
freesat in hd is even better through a hdmi lead:respect-055:

thanks aba ill task my list to the shop and see what they have then
I would say most important is that you send via HDMI to get the best out of HD, that is why i waited for the DM800se-hd, when i tested on my Sony 37w5810 the picture on HD was not as good when sent via scart over HDMI.

it wont be you cant send hd signal via a scart lead
you'll get a picture but it wont be in hd
