I think this is a joke. Opensat has only costs and earns no money with a new firmware. E2 needs not so a long time to be usable.

Mmmm, Meditel is Custom made firmware for some provider I think?, I dunno. I can't install Plugins or ftp etc.. so i go back to . 5300 ;-)

I've got 1.0.19 firmware. looks nice.
PIN for settings is: 0000
I don't know PIN for plugins but I know, how to get acces to Plug-ins menu!!! :D
Solution is:
1. press HOME button
2. press 3 button (in old firmware shortcut to Plug-ins was 3, TV-1, YouTube-2, Movies-4, etc)

and enjoy full features of Plugins folder...

Meditel only does telephony, no tv , but probably they want to in the future.

Would not surprise me if OpenSat has broken a huge non disclosure agreement with meditel..

Meditel seems just to be a skin, if you do the upgrade with OpenXcas and MultiCAS already installed it is still working. :-) So an operator box able to run emu :-)

So we will have one site that will work with the "powerfull" Azbox HD web browser.

In firmware 0.9.5300 you will see that the pre-installed plugins (azmail and pop3checker) have also the Meditel.ma look and feel.

My HD doby digital now is fine.

I just have installed 0.9.5300 and am very pleased that the mediaplayer is ok, it was not for 3 versions and I always had to reverse to 9.47xx

You tube is ok,

zapping is indeed faster,

but this url for upgradres indeed points to meditel.. Anyway meditel is controlled owned by telefonica Portugal.. Good to have a new sponser, thanks to meditel we have a fine piece of firmware at last..

I will not upgrade to the maroccan version, but am sure we will all benefit from the interest of meditel for azbox firmware and technolgy in the future.

Nothing different except the general user interface (it is just a different skin) and the existence of the pin code (who is unknown for the moment ) if you want to have access on plugins
