Hi there,

Hope someone can help me with this.....

I have a dm 8k & i want to put in 2 dvb-s2 tuners.
I should perhaps tell u all that i have a dvd-rw fitted aswell.

Now, what tuner will work & fit behind my dvd?
Second, where can i by what i need?

Thanx in advance

You have to wait for internal tuners to be released.
As far as i know only dvb-s are available and not S2.
I dont think any usb S2 will work ok or even have available drivers..

@ snakie, thanx for your answer.

Im only interrested p&p dvb-s2 tuners, usb is for dvb-t.
As snakie pointed out, i have yet to find dvb-s2 tuners that are made for dm 8k.

So that leaves me with the option with dm 800 hd tuners.

L3 - Most people says it wont work
M - Some says yes other no, anyone here that have tried this one on 8k?
J - I heard that it will work
K - I heard that it will work

Now, the first 2, L3 & M are easy to find all over the net.
J & K i have yet to find

The New Tuner are with Broadcom chipset's, if you buy one, just choose the new one's.

So just to summarize things,
Some of you got the tuner from dm800 and installed in dm8000 and work with it?
Possible to gather the tuner revisions ?
Did anyone try dm7025 - dm600 tuners? Dont try it if you are unsure.I did not!

:iagree: with snakie,

It would be very good if we could work together & sum up witch
dm 800 rev L3, M, J, K that is actually working.

So, @ Gerry55, it would be great if you could check what rev you use;)

It would make it easier for all that are interested in xtra tuners.

I might go with the broadcom tuner anyway after recomendations here.
