Does any one know which satellite to use to setup a polar mount for Sofia in Bulgaria?
Thanks.

If using Usals it doesn't really matter, have a look at the guides, if you want to set it up on your nearest True South satellite just use dishpointer, or other site, to find your latitude and longitude, you can even use a GPS device.
Your Longitude gives you your True South reading, positive readings = East, Negative readings = West
Sofia gives a longitude reading of 23.32.

A polar mount is used with a Jack arm and is not diseqc usals

Set Polar Mount to N42.7 with an Angle finder he was right about 23.3 East so straight out would be approx 1 west

Hi Mickha and Satpaul thanks for the info, I did a bit of Googling after reading your posts, is Eurobird 2 at 25.5E due south of Bulgaria and the one to use?

Astra 3A/3B, 23.5E could be the closest, depending on your longitude reading, but 25.5E would be fine.
Check the maps to see which frequencies will give you the best signal for aligning your dish.
