Anybody tell me the latest navcore available for this model and if it's available free?

I'd be really interested to know if this unit is upgradeable too
I did try last year (can't remember what soft it was now) but it just stopped on the startup piccy, so went back to original software again (7.903)
and still using original Canary islands, north america, western and central europe, guam and australia maps

The latest official navcore is free and available by using Tomtom home to update - but think this is v7.903. With this version you cannot use any of the maps with ALG or IQ Routes, but you can use the latest v870 maps after patching your ttsystem file & activating the map.
Some other navcores will work, but not always 100% - the v8.204 I've posted on the forum works reasonably well on many of the Tomtoms & then the maps with ALG & IQ Routes can be used.

Don't forget to make a full back up copy first, so you can restore back to it if you do have problems.
