In a nutshell what I want to know is has anyone managed to get an external bluetooth GPS receiver to work with windows mobile 6.5 professional and if so what model?
I have a smartphone running wm 6.5 which has an internal gps, but it does not work well unless the weather is good. I want to use it to view OS maps in Ireland (I have the software) where weather rarely good. So thought would install a high power external bluetooth gps. However have tried some and though they appear to pair, the connection is immediately broken and error message connection failed or password wrong. Reasearching the web this is a common problem and nothing to do with password, but have not found a solution. So hence the question.
