hard drive not found or not initialzed

everytime i go to record my box keeps sayind hdd not found or not initialzed . i have already done that and recorded once but it still asks me everytime. i have to initialze before i can record so i have wipe my recordings and also time shift will not work.using vti image 2.4 it also shows that my hdd is detected in my info page . any help would be great.

Do you have internal or extrenal HDD ?

Do you have the same problem with other images ?

Is your image running in the flash ?

internal hdd, will try more images,not sure if my image is running in the flash i installed it from usb

They say the black hole image is best for hard drive recording etc, not tried it myself though (no hard drive as yet)

I have only ever used BlackHole and never had a problem, also with built in mediatomb server it works great with my other Upnp equipment such as my ps3 and samsung TV :respect-055:
