NewcamD Server help, port forwarding aaargh!

I have been trying to get my spiderbox setup but this port forwarding stuff is doing my nut right in. The Spiderbox side of things is simple but how do you know what numbers to put in the Port Range opition in your router


22000

to

30000?


and what about the TCP,UDP or any opition before this field?

Any help would be great. Cheers.

M8 please fist eplain better what you are asking and what you like to do..

If you asking wich port you need gave your Spider, is up to you wich one you like.If you are asking haw to foward the Port to your routers ,dippent wich router do you have !...
But most of the routers working in same way ,, is simple Foward you Port for example

3000 TCP and ip you are fowarding...for explain if your routers is Beliking ip=192.168.2.1 your router..

You foward this port 3000TCP to 192.168.2. lets says 99

same ip should be even to your Spiderbox in manual 192.168.2.99


If you asking about Updating your DNS ip.

they are two ways ....Some routers they do Automticly some Not...

In that case you have to register you Ip =Dns to DNS.org or to No-ip
and install their s/w update in your computer to update all ways you ip.
