I bought an AZbox HD Premium+ about a year ago as it was advertised as being able to decode 4:2:2 signals and blind search. I am a little disappointed as I was looking for a more advanced box for feed hunting. I have read many of the posts in relation to displaying 4:2:2 signals but the software does not seem to have a menu saying that this is 4:2:2. I note that the modulation can be changed when scanning transponders but blind search seems restricted. I also have a technomate TM 5200 which in blind search will lock on to double the number of active transponders on 7 degrees east. Can anbody advise, many thanks

Haven't you got it already, Manik? I would have swore you wrote about it on this forum... Damn, my memory is failing me... :D

Whaat does it look like, the Blind Scan Menu?

Do you have to give any parameters to AZ?

Or is it all automatic and it goes through every one of them...?!?

My model is Elite and the "blind search" in it is more of a "guided" one...

the PREMIUM PLUS can hardware blindscan, and do 4.2.2 feeds.

the PREMIUM and ELITE can't do blindscan, and do 4.2.2 feeds.

The blindscan works well on my Premium Plus.

Finds all the feeds, but it takes a long time to scan a whole satellite, maybe 50 minutes.

Auto FEC works good.

No support for blindscan on E2 though yet.

Allegedly, up until now, it was the E2 that was the problem... It seems E2 for ET9K is now having that function working... Any other rec?
