I can comfirm from ***** site that service + is connected but no channels

Mine connected with my Login ID OK Today
flicked through a few channels & for a short period a few channels on 16E opened on Service+

A big thanks to everyone involved with rebuilding service+ - hopefully this is the beginning of all those great channels again!

I think I will now just enjoy it for long as it lasts, while trying to get my head around some 'other' ways of getting the best out of my spiderbox.

There are plenty of boxes that will run rings round the spider rabby, and you know it.
The only thing that makes the spider good, is the reliability of the server.

ANY box that is capable of c a r d share is as good as the spider.
AND, there are a lot cheaper servers than the spider/gift.

AND, ALL the good ones are underground,........ THAT IS WHY THEY ARE GOOD ONES.
ANY server that is public, WILL fail......... eventually.

I'm glad to hear the "gift" looks like it may come back as I am so far out of touch with the sat scene it was the only way I had of receiving anything other than the services I subscribe to.

As for the underground servers, I'd love to know some details myself, but since they are underground I have no way of finding any details out about them.

Personally I've never been involved in any "sharing" and have no real idea of how it works, tbh I have enough trouble with the softcam and getting the different satellites tuned in lol.

Have no fear about the difficulty of installing a line, YOU will be able to do it in under 5 minutes simply using the remote control. It really IS that EASY!!
Now take a trawl round the net and "read between the lines (no pun intended)" and the picture will become clearer.
If you need any extra help you can PM me but please note I cannot supply a line nor do I have a server.

Have a look at the Spiderbox section, it's all there.
Menu> Accessory> Network> press 1111 and you should see it then.

this is the 9000 section , not the 5000 section

afaik the 5000 is different menus , but I still think you have service+ in there somewhere

This info is Just For Spiderbox 5000 SD Receiver

For service+ you select Xstream

For CCcam or Newcamd you select Dream

Its nice to see someone from the a***t site telling us exactly what is

going on regarding the spiderbox,I am a spiderbox owner myself and am rather

dissapointed at recent developements...can you therefore enlighten us

owners give us some encouragement as to when we will see some further

channels on our boxes, its rather discouraging that there has not been any

further channels coming back, I am only receiving some 5 sports channels

it might be a better idea just to sit back, have pattience, & wait & see what happens next, we were told it could take a while to get things sorted, if it takes a month, we will just have to be patient. after all, WE cannot do anything to help, so i would sit tight & wait. they will tell us when its coming back on.

They have not had the 2 weeks and they said it would be at least 2 weeks, so be calm and read the other options that can work with the Spiderbox. Cards / Cams / Severs / and even freind with cards, they all have hickups, its been the fun of this game for over 20 years for me.
Me i just added a line from my DM800HD-se plenty to watch till service plus comes back,

no it wont interfere , but you can easily turn either off or on at will using the remote control
