Many images coming down now are without drivers for DVD. Go to setup/software management/advanced options/ packet management.[Make sure box is online].Go to enigma2 plugin extensions - dvd players and download it. Or you can look further and download open dvd player.Gui restart and then player should appear in menu. Hope that helps - Brain

I am glad someone else came in on this cos I too was not impressed with this image and I value Passete's judgement. I am playing around with various images on hdd while I see if I want them. The newest Nemesis, and Oozoon, all work really well and the Nem one has sparked the opening of the 256M flash memory[probably by the Dreambox team] and both work really well with DVd plugin. Worth a try. All can be added, especially if BA is installed. Sorry I cant be any more help cos I am still learning lol. Good Luck - Brain

It's gone already,I have gone back to Peter Pan 2.2 the only image I have tested that the DVD player works on first boot.
The latest Nemesis image looked good until when I tried to play a Dvd it would only let me browse to the Dvd and then looped back to the file browser.
Thanks guys. :respect-055:

@ Fatbloke
I think I posted several times on my soft spot for this image - PP2.2 and it is still on my hdd. However the newest Nemesis once loaded will give some very fine skins and all can be run very well on it. Do as I said in the second post and once downloaded all will run seamlessly - it is a genuine Nem suggestion evidently, according to passete on the site, after I solved it by searching!! LOL - Cheers - Brain
