New tv what to buy......

Hi.
im looking for a new tv no bigger than 37" it must do 1080 FULL HD

It must also have a good natural colour picture, and good sound.

Anyone got any recommendations.

Whatever set you buy if you want good true colour make sure it's a plasma.

All the flat screen tv's have very poor sound quality, my panosonic 42" is worse than my old analogue one in that department.

Sound has always been the poor relation for tv's.

Tonyo is right regds sound I use an old analogue amp with my set up that sorts the sound problem out for me.

I also have a Panasonic 42" Plasma and have no issues with the audio.
I think the sound quality has a lot to do with the acoustics of the room.
In a room with wooden floors, hard furnishing, no wallpaper on walls, sound will bounce about all over the place compared to a room with fitted carpets ,soft furnishing and good old woodchip on the walls. (IMHO)

I have an Hitachi 42" myself early HD days though so it only has a DVI input I just use a DVI to HDMI cable to get around this that's why sound is fed via the amp.

I'm not aware of any Plasma TV's of this size that has 1080 full HD. Natural colours are only found on Plasma and CRT TV's , I have a panasonic TX-P37X20 @ 720 HD and is excellent especially at under £400. Try Richer Sound or a Google.

you will hardly notice the diffrence between 720 and 1080p on a 37" screen unless you are sat within a few feet of it, Dont think many manufacturers are still making 720 panels though but there are still older models out there that will be a load cheaper. 50"+ 1080p hell yeah. if you have the room go for the bigger screen, you wont regret it.

get yourself a 1080p, 40" or bigger and a home cinema system-you won't regret it.
the newer tv's have built in hd freeview.

sadly, i cant no room, 37 inch screen is pushing it.
