I've just picked up an S9 for £90 inc a weeks cline and all I can say is its taken me right back to the good old days of the Dbox and TM's with Soft Cam ie cheap and cheerful just as this hobby should be!

The S9 does everything right beyond which you would expect at the price.

The PQ is easily as good as any DM I've owned and falls just a little short of the Cuberevo and Icecrypt S4000. Although were it poos on both of those boxes is that it has a very stable Ccam that so far hasn't glitched on me once.

Functions are very basic but I want to watch telly not play with my box so can't really complain there.

Anyway, all in all a fantastic box that opens it all up again for less than a Ton.

This is just as it should be, something for almost nothing :respect-040:

The box is working as a Newcamd server, too - at least for some cards.

So, no need for pay-server ****e, indeed!:smash: It's very simple!

Around €99 on the Continent, not sure if sponsors have it...

Not perfect, this box! Warning!

Linux but not an open system!

Some issues with various TPs.

Not all cards supported!

Etc.

I've got one for a second box. Sky news puts the box into a loop so that amongst other channels deleted. Cheap and cheerfull. Great pic too.

Yes, I read about that on another forum but it hasn't happened for me running the latest F/W. Then again I haven't tried Sky News only Sky News HD.

If I'm being very picky the blacks on this Box are a little dark, probally adjustable though. Still great PQ for the price.

Downsides for me are
Cant view hdmi and scart at same time ie in another room.
You have to change channels to view each epg.
Dodgy tp's rebooting stb but you can get a list with them removed.
Cant use softcams.

Could be argued that the blackness shows a decent quality of the box.Either way between £70 and £90 its a bit of a bargain
