It's going to be on Sky Sports 3. Sky have cancelled the box office event as fights on the undercard fell through. Khan will probably take Ł1 milion pay cut !!!

Amir Khan’s WBA light-welterweight title defence against Paul McCloskey has been moved to a 9pm slot on Sky Sports 3 after the undercard for the event was severely dented by fighters pulling out of the MEN Arena show. Senior sports personal at Sky have now made the decision to remove the fights pay-per-view status.

The bill in Manchester was originally packed with world title eliminators featuring Scott Quigg and Matthew Macklin and was boosted the day after the press conference with the news that Gavin Rees would challenge home fighter Anthony Crolla for the British lightweight title on the night.

Tyson Fury, Rendall Munroe and Gary Buckland have since been added to the card, but with Fury’s opponent Hasim Rahman seemingly pulling out at short notice, that seems to be the final straw.

Amir Khan v Paul McCloskey is live on Sky Sports 3 from 9pm on Saturday April 16th.
