viaccess 319 or 320 card

Hi

Anybody help me here. I have a viaccess 319 elite supercard and i appear to have lost the Dorcel Channel. Yet my 320 card is working fine. I believe these cards need updated, would this account for only losing Dorcel Channel, or has it been deleted off the 319 card. Is there anyway of updating this on a dreambox as the card has another few months left on it. Any help would be appreciated.

i know cccam has problems updating via cards, gbox should work fine though .
when updated, you can switch back to cccam again .

not sure what 319 and 320 means ( probably serial no.s ? ), but 041700 works fine here .

Yes 319 i believe are last years serial no cards which begin 319 and were possibly superceeded with 320. That is why i was curious why the 319 wasn't working. I just wondered if they were turning 319 cards off, or was it just a simple update needed, but i have only got a dreambox and can't get it to update. Anyone know of a simple way of updating? I did try GBox without any luck. These are Viaccess 4 cards i believe.

do you know the provider id of the 319 card ?

if you run cccam, type 'http://192.168.1.xx:16001/entitlements' in your pc browser .

Hi

I have tried the scam emu overnight, the strange thing about it every channel works apart from dorcel, but dorcel works on my 320 card, but not on the 319.
Here is the entitlements info:
card reader /dev/sci0
handled 28(27) ecms and 0(0) emms
Viaccess card
Caid 500
ident fff8f0
ident 43800

When i goto the dorcel channel it is just blank with no update on the ecms.
How do i find out if this is a viaccess4 card?
Also any ideas how to update this.
Is it normal to lose just one channel only. The rest work fine.

Ok thanks for all the info
the card that has lost dorcel is 0x43800 unknown provider
the other card that works is 41700 inxwold
it just sits there saying waiting for ecm info
any other ideas

i have a couple of such cards on my network and none of them are able to decrypt the 43800 ecm on dorcel tv, so you are not alone .

41700 works fine .

are you saying the dreambox cams cant decode it ?
will it be ok in a viaccess cam before i go and buy one
or is it a card problem

the card itself can't decrypt the ecm, so it doesn't matter where you use it .
it's not a dreambox question, i have 5 cards on my network and none of them work .
last thing you could do is to run the scam emu for couple of minutes and see if you can pick up any new emm's .
