View Full Version : Reading Tivusat card?

Okay after getting past the passwd bit things have been moving along :smash:

How do I get a Tivusat card to read?

I've got a PDF tutorial but it requires running Oscam. But if I run Oscam then I can't run CCcam? Not to mention I haven't figured out where the Oscam cfg file is hidden :ack2:

Oscam conf files, are usualy on var/etc/tuxbox/config !
Maybe you need to install a version of ccam/oscam for your image!

Here an exemple to read tvsat card with oscam, file is oscam.server :

## overclock doesn't work with this card
#[reader]
#enable = 1
#label = tvsat_slot
#protocol = internal
#device = /dev/sci0
#cardmhz = 368
#mhz = 368
#group = 1
#caid = 183d
#emmcache = 1,2,2
#blockemm-g = 1
#tiger_rsakey = A92DA72FEEACF2947B003ED652153B189 E4043B0138C368BDF6B9ED77DDAD6C076 1A2198AEB3FC97A19C9D01CA769B3FFFE 4F6E70FA4E0696A8980E18D8C58E11D81 7121346E3E66457FDD84CFA72589B25B5 38EFC304361B54845F39E9EFA52D805E5 FD86B595B366C35716ABC91FA3DC159C9 F4D8164B5

You don't need CCcam if you run Oscam. It does all that CCcam does except read keys if you have dvbapi enabled.
The config files go in /etc/tuxbox/config
The main file names are oscam.server, oscam.conf, and oscam.user

Oscam won't start without a config.

Turns out the config is in place and supports the card. But it doesn't seem to work -(

So I can't use keys with CCcam?

You can read keys with Oscam+CCcam, but not with Oscam alone.

I wonder if the card just needs to update. It hasn't been used in a few weeks. It's now showing internal decode for some RAI channels but not working at all for the others.

i think that the card need a update every week !
Oscam can update it, just need to set well the 3 files : oscam.server/user/conf

Take a look on oscam log, it will say if card needs update

The card is found but I'm still stuck. Anything obvious from the log?

Thanks

Yes, you donīt need oscam, no special config needed, just put the card in slot, select a tivu channel and the update is done in few seconds.

Tonight when i come back to home i'll post my config.

It works well on sharing, but when i use it localy for about -15 minutes, picture freezes and cccam crashes...
so i have 2 reboot )

Only if your tivu card is in lower slot, if the card is in upper slot you have to change to sci1, same for the blocker.

Nabilo darkstar is a great image.

Good luck with tests.
