Hi,
Dont know if this is the right section, so please forgive me if its not.
My problem is this-
I have a Technomate 5300 connected to get Hotbird at 13 east. And i have the lnb loopthrou connected to an offical Sky Italy box.
Now until the last few days everything was ok, but now if i try to watch Sports 3 on transponder 12054H on the technomate i get `No signal` yet when i switch to Sports 3 on the Sky box i get a picture no problem.
I am using a 90cm dish.
Now i also have a Dm800HD fitted to a channel master 1.2m dish and cant get Sports 3 on this system either.
So can some one please help me or point me in the right direction.
Is the fault with the transponder on Hotbird???
Is the fault with the Dish?? if so how am i getting it on the offical box through a loopthrou feed??

Hope this makes some kind of sense

Have you updated your Technomate 5300 ?

S*y Italia is gradually changing symbol rates on all DVB-S2 transponders from 27500 to 29900 2/3 8PSK DVB-S2.

Other S*y Italia transponders may remain at 27500 2/3,
So if you loose the signal on a transponder change the symbol rate to 29900 and rescan.

Thanks for the quick reply,
I have rescanned the sat but still no luck, if this is what you mean by updating the Technomate.

Cheers

You may have to change the transponder symbol rates manualy and then rescan.

not only the channel in question, but lots of them, several transponders are now on 29900 .
a simple rescan does the job .

Not if it hasn't got any 'network' scan involved, it'll just keep scanning those tx with 27500...... as the op has already tried. Not familiar with the tecnom8, so if it hasn't got a 'network' scan, he's going to have to scan each tx manually.
