spiderbox home plugs

using home plugs for spiderbox connection want to move my router to master phone socket which is downstairs got 2 ring main circuits one downstairs one upstairs will homeplugs work with one in each circuit or have they both got to be in same circuit

there dam good plugs , i read they have to be on same circuit,, but i may be corrected

both consumer units are connected together

Supposed to be on same circuit but some find they will work across two circuits coz the circuits meet in the fusebox
