I have rc12 installed on my internal HD.
when I want to record e2 tells me to initialized HD.
go to settings initialize HD, e2 asks are u sure u will loose data?
Select yes
Azbox rebooted to rescue mode.
have to reinstall rc12 image.
is there anyway to have image installed on HD and record to said harddrive without this prob when I initialize HD.?

hello
why you choose install in hdd? this will force all the time to start hdd.If you choose to install in a usb stick is a better way without the noise of working hdd.
so every time you choose to initialize hdd is the same to format, so instalation will erase the disk.

I think the advance is that you keep original firm intact and can try out rc12 on usb,or dual boot. I have rc12 on dom and original on usb, works great.
