Hi All ,

I've done a quick search for "streaming" in this section but came up with nothing . I used to stream form my PC to my 800HD and 7020S using the VLC plugin but I can't seem to find it in the add-ons . Is this still the way to go for streaming ?

Thx

Sammy

You can stream this way or even easier is to use djmount if you have a nas or use w7:respect-055:

Thanks sonic1 . I've no idea what "djmount" , "nas" or "w7" are but I'll do a bit of searching .

Hello m8,
try this method : https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthread.php?t=141509

If you don't have W7 (Windows 7)or Vista, Password's are not needed !

Good luck

What image are you using Sammy ?

w7 = windows 7
nas = network attached storage

djmount allows access to and upnp server

upnp = universal plug and play.

Black Hole image has djmount built it. ;)

If you need the vlc plugin or djmount plugin you can get them via software manager and packet management.

or direct from dreamboxupdate.com

Hi Again .

I'm having some CIFS mount issues here with my PC NTFS partitions . Using BH 1.6.6 and XP SP3 . I can map any of my FAT32 partitions fine using post #4 in this thread but I can't map any of the NTFS partitions . Do I need to set up some additional sharing or security parameters for these partitions ?

Thanks .

Sammy

Fixed it . Had to add a new user account in XP with the same username and password as defined in the Duo . Funny I didn't need it for FAT32 partitions . Anyway , hope it helps .
