Hi Guys,

I am currently on E2 RC12 on my AZBox Premium, but I am trying to revert back to original firmware. I am using AZUp v.2.0.4, but keep getting stuck on where it says in the AZUp info box

10:22:08 > Free RAM Checking....

Then a windows dialogue box appears saying:

Connection to service failed!
Pls Switch Off and then Switch On your AZBox and try again !!!
After Clicking OK, another windows window shows

Not enough memeory (RAM) !!!
Reboot AZBox and then try again.

I have tried this several times with the same results.

Any advice please.

(PS. Good work with the E2 development)

I have tried using patch.e2 from 1'st and 2'nd in RTi RC12 and also RC11 - but keep getting a message saying that it isnt the offical kernal

JaZUp! is connected to your AZbox IP: 192.168.2.22
Your AZbox kernel is Enigma2
Your AZbox is in rescue mode
Your AZbox CPU mode is normal
Description Kernel : #28_Apr3
Sorry, this is not an official kernel...

Do I need to rename the official patch.bin (V0.9.5306) to patch.e2 on my PC? (this is the version I have on the USB key in the AZBox)

Hello,

Use this e2 file http://www.azbox-enigma.eu/upload/Back_to_Official_FW.rar
to come back with official kernel.
Put a official 'patch.bin' on your usb memory stick and plug it in your azbox.
Reboot azbox.
Your azbox is normaly in rescue mode.
Put the ip of your azbox in jazup 2.2 and click on the 'Restore official Boot' take the e2 file (link above). Jazup will flash the official kernel in your azbox.
Don't remove the usb stick...
Your azbox must be fall in the official update firmware panel.
Format DOM and use USB option for a official upgrade.

You can read the do***entation in the jazup 2.2 package all is explaine.

Regards.
Hectore.

Thanks Hectore, that all worked perfectly. You even provided HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool to get my USB stick back to being Windows 7 usable.

Again, Many Thanks to you and mx700

Regards,
Mike.
