Astra 19.2E

Hey, do not get the Astra 19.2E, never had sat a problem with the before.Have Moved and are better conditions, But do not get it no matter how much I try, the Thor-Sirius and Hotbird Without problem.Have 88 cm antenna . Some good tips?, thanks.

in uk 88cm dish is ok for 19.2e you need to get your dish motor setup correctly most likely a tracking problem unless there is an obstruction trees ect

Do not dish motor, can be three to come in the way, is about 20-30 meters to tre.er mounted on the wall, can be a bit of the roof when the roof sticking out slightly.

I suggest you move the dish from Hotbird 3° eastward and try to receive 16° East. If you receive a signal there then move the dish the same amount towards the East as you moved from Hotbird to 16° East.

Can not get signal on 16 E, only at 13 E. Will move dish it tomorrow and try.

Got in Euro Bird 1 28.5E, not Astra 28.2 E. Disch is mounted on the roof when I got in Astra 19.2 E. Strange I did not get into Astra 28.2 E when I got into Euro Bird 1 28.5 E.

have you got a sat meter,,where are you,,have you checked the transponder frequency that your searching astra 19.2 on,,double check everytning,cables ,conectors,etc,,if everything ok then ide go for dish alignment:respect-055:

glad you got sorted. could have been just the wrong angle for a tree. a friend of mine was a sat retailer and we could not get 30 west. wherever we moved the dish, no go. there was a tree in a neighbours garden and 30west would not come through using horizon meter. everything else but not 30 west.
remember going to scunny and not getting 28 east for the same reason. this sky dish even picked up a signal from 26 east slightly but not sky, however we tried. tree in field opposite
