After trying out different skins, I found that some of then make the box run slow when changing channels, is that normal.

your lucky only to get that mate.

some will give you the GSOD green screen of death, or go into the spinner loop.

you've just gotta find the appropiate skins for your image.

After trying out different skins, I found that some of then make the box run slow when changing channels, is that normal.

Very normal, heavy skins with loads of coding make them slow, BH skins in particular are made with speed in mind, you may not get all the glossy info that some skins provide but you get performance.
