There closing the lot down soon, as soon as they can swap out all the old boxes.

It was supposed to happen a couple of months ago, but they had probs.

At least we saw the whole EPL season on bulsat, excellent stuff.

They have another 1 or 2 years left on the present contract. I've seen the whole package advertised at 299 euros in europe for Satellite BG at 23east which includes diema and nova sport bg.

The 23e cards are cryptoworks and are not paired to the box, the 39e ones are paired to the box so you need to shell out for that to !

Satellite BG have taken over on 23e and the price is now higher for their conax service, I was quoted at 469euro which is a joke.

Any thoughts I had of getting a card are now gone, thats almost sty prices !

keith just out of curiosity, whats a good price for you to buy a card for 1 year?
For a package like Bulsatcom that has a little bit of everything.

Hear hear mate - I thinks its actually got quite a LOT of everything, like a 'mini-digitv' - so I agree its really cheap at the price, unlike many cards currently up for sale!:respect-055:

Well I did shell out good money for a bulsat card, Irdeto 39e.
At first excellent package though many of the channels I had hoped would be in english with subtitles Fox and AXN for e.g. were almost always dubbed with no english soundtrack.
Within 3 months channels started dropping off and whats left is a joke for the price I paid.
I know that buying foreign cards carries some risk but a major encryption change with no swap-out service is not on.
They had my dosh and has left me with bad feeling for bulsatcom so I won't be buying conax card either.
not like me to moan either.

Wossname i know the feeling as it happens with various packages with no explanations at all (see **** channels).
But for bulsat i dont agree as it tries to defeat piracy and its their right to do it.
You knew the risks,as for a swap it depends on the reseller, how good relations has with authorised sellers in Bulgaria.
Dont forget that Bulsatcom is available only for Bulgarian residents officially.

@ snakie yes I accept that bulsat are entitled to change encryption and that i knew the risks. the re-seller told me that change to bulcrypt means package will only work on dedicated boxes given out free with an 18 month subscrition to locals and no compensation or refund to pre-paid card owners.
In those cir***stances why would you suggest buying a pre-paid card, its just not a safe enough bet.

Anyway I'm not trying to cause an argument and to keep it vaguely relevant to keith's first post, the HD channels were never included in the pre-paid card anyway even though I did buy bulsat total.

Satellite BG on 23e uses conax cards which are not paired to the box, the cryptoworks cards are being phased out.

The package seems dearer than bulsat at 39e though.

I agree with you TonyO.
The prices are a joke.
As I recall, and I've been motorised sat user since 1990, it was ridiculous subs prices that gave life to this hobby. I could be wrong, I often am - which is why I don't post a lot.

Your problem can be resolved by using cccam and cardsharing forums. Find some guy with the new conax card on 23.5 and exchange clines.Simple and free!!!

@wossname: The idea was to buy an original sub for a package that has decent programs on it at the lower price possible and taking whatever risks this action may have.Btw, we are only chatting :)

@keith:lets see when softcam dries what you gonna moan about :p

@radodroma: sometimes some packages wont be available on sharing, therefor we talked about original cards (and their receivers if they are paired).
