Can someone, like passete or oldfart explain why, when I load a new image now and restore settings Astra 28 and sirius 5e always appear as service unavailable? All others work Ok with restore - just these two dont - its only recently that this is occuring. Thanks - brain

I don't Use restore function for the channels, never used/tryed !
But, sometimes i do have a bug with dreamset, when i dowload the settings (from king*of*sat) and then send the channels the first time, all work fine !
But if i install a another image, and re send the same list (without closing or redownload again), i do find all the settings list empty !
The solution is to close dreamset, and redownload re send the settings once again.
Channels change almost everyday, and i like to keep my settings up to date, that's why Dreamset is a really good Tool !

Its actually on the tuner settings that the problem appears. Having done restore settings all sats are available except 28e and 5e. Whatever I then do I cannot get these to work but all others do and station lists are present but those two are not bright and working - it seems to be increasing each time I try a new image. Brain

The discrepancy is in the satellites.xml file that comes with the image, and the version saved in your settings.
Generally FTPing a saved satellites.xml file to the box and rebooting will fix the problem, then you set the satellites up again in the tuner setup option.

I never restore either - you just restore old problems!

Yes but it does take along time to setup all the bouquets and channels again as the family like them!! LOL - Brain
