Hello Mates,
Which satellites do you sugest from 0.8°W to 30°W or more ?
I'm in north west France, and for now i'm using 0.8°, 5° and 30°W, is there another interesting sat that i can pick on my Location ?
I'm getting about 90% snr on 0.8W and the same on Hispast 30° !
Thanks for your sugestions

These are the sats you are asking about there is nothing beyond to the west of 30w that i know about worth a mention most these sats use fairly secure encryption now a days ...
4 west , 5 west , 7 west , 8 west , 12.5w , 15w , 22w , 24.5w , 27.5w
i cant get much on Amos 4w with my 2 meter prime focus only 1 maybbe 2 TP's at best .
5 West mostly french stuff some xxx which may be of intrest ,
7 west i get no signal on 2 meter prime focus and OSN is closed even on c/s .
8 west has not much at all just occasional feeds ,
12.5w wud be ideal few channls here are clearing via keys .
15w not much but does have USA Feeds MSNBC can be intresting ,
22 west is good sat for wresting feeds but mostly ppvs are encrypted in Biss .
24.5w was my fav untill Tueve went encrypted but does have WWE Raw live feeds every monday nite in 4:2:2 .
27.5w nothing much here at all just occasional Feeds .
30w Hispasat as you likely know is very good with TV Cabo/Meo/D+ and also StarmaxHD .
hope that helps a little .

Good evening passete m8 ,
Few interesting channls like TNT fta on T U R K S A T 42e maybbe of interest ,
Hellasat 39e - pretty good plenty open here via keys or CS ,
28e Has around the usual 100 odd half decent fta channls if your signal permits ,
26e very good MBC Fta and good few others that can be of interest ,
19e - s k y DE , c+fr , d+ , c+nl always got summat intresting ,
16e - tring , digialb has become a weak enuff sat and pic quality is average at best unfortunatly ,
13e hotbird - decent mix polsat/cyfra/s k y IT / nova / JSC / xxx etc.. never stuck for summat good to watch here ,
10e - excellent for feeds and easy signal to obtain with PL TV HD For footie fta is a great sat for pure hobby reasons ,
9e - kablekiosk german mostly german audio but again has few channls clear with keys MGM/ Fantasy xx / Disney etc ..
7e - turk channls always decent for movies and sport good sat
5e - Akta Romania excellent and english audio for movies etc..
Viasat if signal permits is very decent again a good sat
And of course 1w Thor which already you know and in my opinion is likely best sat of all has been best and i dont see that fact changing anytime soon .
Again hope that info helps you to decide and perhaps helps other members decide aswell
Good luck and happy viewing with whatever you choose passete .

Whats your dish size m8
MBC channels on 26 East used to be the best ones to search for m8 & strongest signals
MBC 1 @ 11919H 27500 3/4
From 28.2 East move your dish real slowly to your right

26e MBC is best deffo i can get pretty decent signals on freq's mentioned above around 200 odd channls infact the Best being MBC Action ( see screenshot below )
And MTV Arabia and Dubai Racing
Lots good movies on this sat with English audio and arabic subs which i dont mind as they are all FTA :sifone: :D .
1.1m Triax dish is good enuff to get these here in Eire .
90% and 78% good enuff to obtain signal even in crappy weather conditions .

The dish is a gibertini 85cm (brand new, also a brand new motor and inverto lnb)
Thank you guys, good tips !
Well, i geting signal drops from 80% to 0%, tryed all the above same result !
On 28,2°E i get snr's from 80 to 95%, no problems at all
I guess that's must be the neighbor Tree or not enought big dish :(

To work out if it is the tree thats causing the problem
Try turning the dish further to the right of 28.2 East & picking up other eastern sats
Try 33 east or 39 East sats -there are some strong transponders on thoses sats
If you can get these it means your set up is ok but neighbours tree is causing you the problems
Are you able to relocated your dish where u can have a clearer line of site from 30w to 45 east?

Thats a good sign m8 if u can get those ok it means your set up is ok
Try pushing as far as 42 East & 45 East birds! See what u can get from those
