sound troubles

I keep losing sound on my 800se it can be on one minute then just silence. Then on one channel then if I change programme it goes off on the channel i'm changing to. I have changed hdmi leads, I put my freeview box through it and sound stays on so not losing it from t.v or freeview box,run freesat from the television no problems there either. I'm lost now what to do.

Did you have this problem with several Images ?
Which image ? are your drivers up to date ?

I have had this image in for a few months and, it only started playing up couple of days ago

Well, your box is "out of update" !
Can you update it with "software update" ?
Many drivers "Fix" and Newer Second Stage are Out !

menu -> setup -> software management -> software update

We still don't know which image you are using !

Well, they are all enigma2 images !

Maybe you are using original dream Image ?
Soft. update should work if is a original image.

it says upgraded no packages with no errors

newnigma2 image EII

This is a "snapshot" or a very old newnigma2, so you can't update it !

If you Prefer Newnigma2 images, download the last one and install it !
