questions re vu duo and sky

hi all

on the vu duo would i be able to watch 1 channel on sky whilst recording another

as i want it to replace my sky hd box, also are there any boquets available and a good epg, if it could do this i would buy one thanks

You can record and Watch up to 6 channels at any one time if you also have a DVB Tuner (5 on Sat alone). You do need to have a dual LNB feed however (2 cables from your lnb/dish). The Vu+ is a perfect relacement for your SKY+ box as it has many more features besides a DVB recorder.

Regarding Bouquets, you can use many different bouquets that are all available for DL within the forum if you look around. I use a modified version of Catseye settings on my box.

the standard and reliability of the EPG varies from image to image. I use Vix2.1 image and have a full 7day epg complete with listings and descriptions etc. I know Blackhole also has a good reliable 7 day epg.

In summary, I would say buy one as you will not be disappointed. It is a much better box than your current one.
