if you have an Android Phone, and you're on Vodafone, check if yuo have BTOPENZONE \ WIFI on your account.

goto MY ACCOUNT on Vodafones website.

if you have a green tick, next to it, download BTFON app (not BTOPENZONE it doesnt work)

then goto configure settings, and put in your my account

V***/vflogin email address @vf.co.uk @vf .co .uk and then then your vf password

vee eff uk/ (above)

then turn on your wireless....

now, when you walk around cities, the app will automatically log you into any open zones and vibrate \ sound when it locks on, and gives you speedy wifi, instead of munching on your sluggish 3g.

as Tony would say, "its GRRRRRREAT!!!"

Doesn't your phone do this automatically?

Check the Wifi settings under Wireless and networks.

Second options is Network notification.

This is for open WIFI networks.

DOH! You are totally missing the point mate

yes "BT Open Zone" SSID's are open to all, it doesnt actually give you browsing capabilities UNTIL you've logged in (a subscription \ paid service) though

when you are connected to a BT OZ, it takes you to their portal page, where you need to have an account to login into it, before it allows you to browse.

this app does it ALL for you - finds the BT OZ, connects, logs in, allows browsing - and vibrates \ sounds to let you know, you also get a special symbol to show you're connected
