This prog will play direct off the USB!!

Load into left window - left click and select zoom then full window. Brill.

Hopefully this function is free.

I have tried using VLC to play .ts files and would not work for me. Even after changing the file extention to mpeg. But what I've managed to do on my Apple Mac-I wanted to keep an old Polish series so I created a DVD using Toast. Works a treat! Windows users-Roxio should be able to do the same. Plays beautifully on my Sharp Blue ray player and other DVD players as well. The Toast video player could not play .ts files.... I was getting a black screen. How strange...
There is another software (freeware) windows users can try. It's called Allplayer and as far as I know it was developed by my fellow countrymen. It used to play everything, but I have not used it for a long time now. You may want to try this: _http://www.allplayer.org/en
