Hi,

I must admit that I hesitate to patch my receiver
with F16 FW.

But since this model doesn´t seem to be supported anymore
(CT ´ve got a lot to do for thier 9000 series) I´m juuust abit tempted.

What´s your view / experience if you´ve tried it?

Could this really destroy your box??

Does the latest F16 FW have the same "features" like opening
I2 chls , Viasat NDS 5E (Dr,NRK,SVT), ORF.....

Is it save to go back to CT FW??

Thanks in advance :respect-063:

Hmmm save? it's always a risk to load other firmware then original.

But hey No pain, No gain :-)

1) To move from CT to F16, charge via USB (or serial) firmware 180p, then the file boot_HTM8000_7109 and then the firmware F16 you want.

2) To move from F16 to CT, charge via USB (or serial) F16 firmware "1.00, then the file boot_HTM8000_7109 and then the firmware CT you want.

It 's always better before you do this and save the settings and softcam and reset the decoder!

Don't have a CT buit i saw F16 from yesterday so they are pretty recent

Ok I did it. Seems like zapping speed has improved.
It´s like owning a new box...

All in all a much better looking soft and Epg better too....

Moreover CAM´s do work better with this firm.

Has anyone here tried to install a 2nd cardreader?
F16 Firm is supposed to support it??
