View Full Version : Install E2 using Mac OS?

Hello everyone,

I would like to know if anyone managed to install E2 on Icecrypt S4000HD using Mac OS X? In installation thread there are apps for Windows only. Do you think I can use Virtual PC Box? Have anyone tried it?
I am not sure if serial port is 100% emulated on those and I will not brick my STB :)

Any help greatly appreciated!

I am a Mac user myself. But all the installations I carried out using Win XP. To reassure you-I don't think you we'll be able to brick the stb. In the worst case scenario you will not be able to connect. Also, so far only ManikM managed to use usb-serial converter, so you would need to have a serial port to be able to connect successfully.
