hello friends. can someone help me please? PROBLEM with my old but faithful Humax 5400. when viewing the nederlands channels with fausto emulator, these channels don't open, but I have to go to configuration, then parser, press parser again and then they open, which means I need a suitable pmct. any suggestions my friends where I can find this pmct? thanks to all beforehand. :respect-055:

What happens is that you are choosing the correct pmct entry, but this entry is stored in ram which means that once you restart your box, the correct entry is erased and then you have to do that all over again. Your normal pmct is stored in flash which means it doesn't get erased once your box is restarted.

The solution is to download pmct smart by nostromo (google it), make sure you have made the correct selection from the parser and that the channels are open, and while your box is on, press the "read pmct" button. This way any new entrys stored in ram are read and merged to a single pmctable. Then press "save pmct" and this is the pmct you are asking for. Upload this file to your box, and you wont need to enter the parser again.

tried but with no luck. to complicated for stupid me. will have to wait,I guess till some kind soul will supply the right pmct for humax to view nederlands channels without hassle. anyway thanks a lot my dear friend. regards. :confused:

Read all the posts and you will understand what he is trying to get, and how the parser works. The parser won't work on its own, you will need to make the correct selection.

thanks umgum. tried different pmct but still no luck, but i just can;t find the thread 148387 that you are using. can you please have some patience with me and guide me how to get to it. i am very naive not to say stupid to these things. thanks a lot mate.
