Bootloader - The basic loading software which protects vital reciever functions. This needs to be changed to allow non-original firmware to be loaded, like E2 or alternative resellers firmware.
Warning erasing the bootloader can and will brick your receiver.

Mcas - Softcam EMU (i.e unscrambling channels, and allowing white sly cards to work) - used in conjunction with keydata.tmp (key file)
Also MultiCas card reader functioning on both card reader. Can be used in conjuction with Mclient to C/S in local network.

Mclient- c/s server for local within network home share setups

Xcam- C/S CCCam/Newcamd clone

Xcam client- CCCam client as above

Xcam configure- Remote control configuration interface for the Xcam client.

cardclient.conf- as above

Coconut - Used for unscrambling known BISS keys, can be auto updating.

There are many other C/S plugin's like MGcamd, Oscam, Redcam etc.
These all work and configure in a similar fashion as the Xcam except they don't have the remote control configuration.
You need to ftp into the receiver to configure them.

Use the "format user data" option when installing new plugins to clear the var folder.
It is relevant for the Icecrypt S3500, S4000 and the STC6000 models.
Deleting them in the plugin menu does not remove them from the memory only from the plugin menu so they are still taking up valuable space.

Hope the extra info helps.

explanation of xcam by reboot

also note , details on using xcam for c line or n line service are already in the plugin tools section as well , so its not as if the info wasnt here before the reboot clarification

This is not an idiots guide but a brief explanation of what the Xcam plugin is and how to use it.
Xcam is the CCcam and Newcamd client for the Icecrypts 4000 and 6000.
You need to have your own access to a C-line or N-line server to use Xcam.
No test servers are included so you will have to find your own.

You enter the C-line or N-line either via ftp(like it is on Dreamboxes) or via the remote control using the second part of the plugin the Xcam config.
I am only explaining the second method(remote) here as the first method(ftp) is for more advanced users who will already know how to do this.
The Xcam config gives you an onscreen interface to enter your server details using the remote handset.
To enter a C-line via remote control, start the Xcam config in the plugin menu, a window will appear, select the first slot.

Most CCcam servers are now CCcam2 so on client toggle left or right to select CCcam2.
Server URL and port details are straight entry so for example if your C-line is

C:dodgyserver.dyndns.com:12000:Us er:Password

Then your Xcam config would look like this

Slot 0
Client CCcam2
Server URL dodgyserver.dyndns.com
Port 12000
EMM disabled
CAID 0
MASK 0
User Name User
Password Password

Once you have entered your C-line details, exit from the config, then start the client.

If you have entered the details correctly and the server is working you should get "XcamCL install complete"
any other reply normally indicates either incorrect CCcam details or non-functioning server

You can run Mcas and Xcam at the same time or seperately as they do different jobs.
Mcas is the Multicas Card Reader and Xcam is the C/S client.

so anyone wishing to look at examples of cccam lines etc needs to look here
