Hi guys,

Have been trying to open Platforma DV/HD using oscam+ccam/oscam+mgcamd on my DM800 and DM8000 but can only get the Platforma HD channels to open. Have posted a thread elsewhere regarding that.

My question here is does anyone know if it is possible to get CCcam (or any other cam for that matter) to share out a card in a cam - I know this used to be possible with a slycard in a diablo v2.3 cam using nabilo but doesnt seem to want to work here. The Platforma card uses a DRECrypt cam.

I have telnetted to the box and tried lspci etc. but it says command not recognised. I know /dev/sci0 and /dev/sci1 are the card readers but not the cam readers and /dev/sd** are usually flash and disk drives. If I know what device the cam reader's are, I should *technically* be able to get CCcam to read that and enable sharing to my DM 800.

I have attached the list of contents of /dev (obtain via telnet).

Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated - or is the only other alternative using a computer with a card-reader such as a smargo?

Thanks,
Betas

Edit: Forum downsized the picture and made it impossible to read. Here is a better version (sorry if not allowed to hot-link, code posted below):

The other Platforma channels, are NOT open with any other Softcam !

This is what i understood !

PS : This is Like many Others Cards, that Can't be used without the Original Box, This is what will happen in near future (i hope not).

PS2: same question that you posted : https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthread.php?t=149802

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. Was not sure for the new topic but this was in relation to using a CAM in a box whereas the otherone was the card-reader in the box, not the cam.
I might try it with a smargo otherwise it will have to be an omnikey with a pc -.-
