Rescue mode not working in latest Gemini image

I am struggling to go into rescue mode with the latest Gemini image. When I try from the menu it says going into rescue mode on the front display but then just reloads the Gemini image. I have placed a formatted(fat32) usb pendrive in with an original fw patch bin on it and turned the machine off and on but still no rescue mode.

Switch off / on the box and then press the "VOL+"-button directly on the frontpanel from the box, until the box is in the "rescue mode" and show you the IP-adress.
