The Navcore is Normaly Updated By TomTom Home Software !

I have also a TT one V3, and i'm runing latest 870 maps on it.

Ive just deleted everything on it using Home,i then let it do the updates, added 870.3406 Map,tried to Activate Map using Alberts tool but when i add the Map to the tool,a box pops up saying"62,Input past end of file" and thats as far as it gets:confused: and also says"no maps found"on the Tom Tom although its there when i open the device up in Explorer.

Have you patched the ttsystem file on your Tomtom ?
What version of Navcore have you got now ? - You need at least v8.204 to use the v870.3406 map.
Don't know what the pop up box problem is though sorry ??

HRussell, its got 8.204 but cant do nothing with the 870 map,ive managed to get V825.2159 map working but when i try to choose postcode on the screen when navigating to somewhere the Tom Tom freezes then reboots itself.

Been following with great interest. Followed the tutorial closely and used Albert's Tool. Now I am stuck with 'you can't use this map on this device'. I see that Navcore is still 8.016. I update with TomTom Home twice weekly so I guess that I am looking for Navcore 8.4.?.?. Anyone know where to find that and indeed how to load it please?? (TT Home 3rd Edition).

Should be able to get the v870.3406 map working with 8.204.

To sort out postcode problem - set keyboard to QWERTY & use small letters

What map are you trying to use ?
I haven't got any other navcore versions, but you could try using the v8.204 copy which is posted in the guide in here if you want to use the v870.3406 map (with IQ Routes & ALG).

I used Albert EA5 57.21 and map UK ROI 355 **** 870.346. I have had a good look around here for v8.204 but can't see it. (I have been reading your excellent help for 2 years until finally having a go today! Thanks Russell1).

Going round and round with various errors but probably making some progress. Once I have it sorted will I be able to continue with my subscription for speed cameras?
