Hi,

Recently i bought a S3000 Icecrypt receiver. I downloaded this version of the firmware: Icecrypt_S3000_230311 and installed it. I can connect to my server (2.2.1), but it doesn't work. Since i do not know how to view any logs on the S3000 (no telnet server i think) it's a bit difficult to troubleshoot. What CCCam version is built in in this version of the firmware? Is it a known problem?

Thanks in advance.

I didnt think it had cccam built in ?

if its like my 4000 you have to use xcam or similar , check the glossary of terms to see what files do what , but my 4000 uses xcam for n or c lines

With this firmware you have cccam and newcamd built in. In the menu you can choose your cam. I can't edit cccam.cfg or any other config file (i don't know how to login into the S3000, i don't think that's possible).

On the S3000 is a simple non linux reciever.
All you need to do is to place your c line in the network settings using the red button to enter the edit section. Once entered you can see if its connecting correctly and set it to be auto connecting.

so its basically like a spiderbox or blade or starview combo , put the details in network settings and you are good to go

I would think the cccam is between 211 and 214 , but he wont know that without checking in the server webif

I entered the network settings correctly, and the icecrypt connects to my cccam server. But still it doesn't decrypt any program, i get the message "Scrambled" on my tv.

cccam server is 2.2.1 (from the top of my head) and all my other receivers work fine with this server. Except the Icecrypt, it doesn't seem to be able to communicate with the server. I see if i feel like downgrading the server, and see if it works then. But more probably, i think i buy another cheap hd receiver :)

Thanks for your replies so far!

The CCcam is based between 2.1.1 and 2.1.4 depending on what firmware being used, so it should work on your 2.2.1 server. Have you tried my modified firmware for the S3000. It has a slightly enhanced CCCam.
