I need your help and advice please m8s,I cannot move my dish from 28East to any other satellites,I go in to the satellite menu and chose what satellite to go to, and then chose what program to choose but nothing happens.

I have every thing is as it should be ,and just to make sure I went to the site to put post code in and get Lat and Long .
But still the dish will not move East or West, need your advice please m8s.

Disable the limits East and West.

What are the settings for tuner a and b in setup/service searching/tuner configuration?

This is what I have with A and B tuner
Tuner A:BCM7335-S2 Nim internal DVB-S2


Tuner B:BCM7335 DVB-S2 Nim internal -DVB-S2 second cable of motorized LNB Tuner A

Longitude oo1.247
West
Latitude 053.797 North

I hope this doesn’t come over as a silly question, but what do you mean disable East and West and what happens after that has been done.

disable west/east limits...

is designed to stop the dish going beyond your required setting

ie; if wall mounted, and your limit on say west sats, is 5 west, that would be your set limit
and the dish, then cannot hit the wall

this can be a problem if the setup is set to simple
in advanced, using usals, you control this, by only activating the sats you can get

After I have disabled East and West limits,should I then set the dish from 28East to Astra19 and see if it moves.

try setting just tuner a to the following
Configuration mode - simple
Mode - positioner

And set tuner b to not configured then make sure that your cable from the dish is going to the correct tuner

Strange thing is you haven't said what type of motor you are using is it disec or an actuator powered by a vbox?

I am sorry I havnt tols you what motor it is ,its a DiseqC Motor and I use the VU+ to move from sat to sat.
