You're looking at something around 2-3m for that, hard to get in the UK.

2.5m down south and bigger as you travel north for the transponder you need

I would guess 26e is easier, the 7w signal is on Nilesat 201, not heard of any successful reception reports of it in the UK, whereas i've seen reports of 26e been picked up in the south with something like a channel master 2.4m. Not easy either way!

Just had a look at kingof to check which satellite print and then lyngsatmaps to see the coverage and in the UK looks like it would be almost improbable . Conditions would have to be perfect and the dish as SatSearcher has said at least a 2.4m dish am assuming that would be south of London to. Tis a shame cos it's the cheapest sub at the moment and in HD

Another option:
If you have a friend living anyware in the Middle East, get him/her a slingbox and watch the lot without investing in a Dish.
I do not know how much slingbox will cost.

It might be easier to find friends in Spain where the signal is also good

Hi John896,
i see you were watching admc on 26e last season, down Swansea, i'm in Stoke on Trent, i've brought a CM 2.4, curently considering swopping my CM 1.8 over to it, i haven't as yet because my 1.8 is spot on, it would be for 26e, and admc, what signal strength are/were you getting and i take it , it was with one of there own receivers,(which aren't that good, so i beleive) which i beleive is paired to the admc sports card.?

I am in Spain and get it easy on 7 west and 26 east on a dust bin lid (almost) but i wanted it for a friend in the uk as its only 450 euros for year or 189 euros for renewal. i could stream using dreambox and air video maybe

Yes the card is paired to there humax boxes, i am getting around 50%-60% signal on the admc sports channels.

wwe.
I also live in Spain in the Murcia region. Not sure where you are based, but the main supplier of ADMC near Benidorm is offering this system including Al Jazeera Sports(10 channels) for 499euros and yearly renewal for both at 349euros. Wall to wall football.
Paradise for some.

Yes tried many times for the "Badr6-BSS" admc beams on 26e with my 1.8,here in Stoke on Trent, and not a sniff.

just wondering now after i had the impulse buy on the 2.4, weather its worth putting up for 26e, as at the moment my current 1.8 set up is FANTASTIC.on ALL sats!

Will do ,
i've just got to get a lighter bracket (of some discription) sorted out for the 2.4 as i want it motorised.and as you know the CM 2.4 is a heay dish.

its the thought of setting it up as good as i did with my 1.8, WHICH TOOK AGES to get right. But thats all part of the hobby i supose. !!!!

Even cheaper down here in Malaga m8 where the ADMC box is just €300 & the 10 channel AJ card €100. Renewals are advertised on the channel for $105.

Hi I used to get it about 4-5 months ago with a 1.2m offset dish but since leaves have grown on trees which are in line of sight I can not get strong enough signal.Guess I will have to wait until autumn and try again.

:001_07:Football should only be played in the winter, so it should not be a problem, anyone know of a card that will scramble the excess football that is being broardcast? Waste of technology as far as I'm concerned.:001_07:
