Tring 16e

Hi guys
I know Tring has changed but whatever I do I cant get any signal on my DM 8000.Have tried 11283v both 27500 and 30000 5/6 but it just says no channels found and signal remains firmly on 00.0! QPSK also added. Any ideas? Many thanks - Brain

Check the channel memory is not full, some channel list are gigantic and make recievers behave really badly when they get full.

Thanks TonyO but I dont think DB has any limit as other transponders come down OK - it just seems that for me Tring has done a runner - lol. Brain

Have you tried a channel list from Catseye?

See if that makes any difference?

Thanks for that but I have tried all those and no success - it really is most strange since all other sats work Ok and I can add transponders to them. umm. Back to the drawing board I feel. Brain

have you got the the tring news channel as i know quite a few pubs have probs with tring cards.

i know that if they have the footie channel on waiting for the match to start all they get is a fuzzy picture but if there on a news channel when the match starts and wait a couple of mins and then switch to the footie channel the match will come on its most strange i know but i know this as my fellar has installed about 6 tring cards nothing but probs
try a channel list and see if it works
