Got myself a VU+ Duo. Wanted to put a quad LNB on the 1M Lenson Heath dish (I don't think its offset). Do you guys have any recommendations?

Also is there a great difference in getting a twin rather than a quad LNB for it?

Would the ICECRYPT 0.1db Universal Quad Output LNB from the board sponsors do the job?

Thanks
Steve

depends how many ports you need all lnbs are ok for the dish offset is the norm but if you have a centre feed prime focus you may need a c120 type there are loads of different makes on the market and most equal in noise and quality

Thanks for the advice, looks like the icecrypt one for me. Should be pretty good being 0.1db

I ended up getting this https://www.goldwafers.co.uk/ICECRYPT-0.1db-Universal-Quad-LNB.html however this was 5 and a half years ago. Do you think it needs replacing. I need a few more % out of my dish to have a stable picture on the Tandberg Premier League Saturday 3pm feeds on 11020 V at 7e. Do you think the Inverto Black Ultra HGLN Quad LNB (0.1 db) would give me that extra few % I need? Well worth the £22 if it does the job. Thanks

BTW - now I also have a Vu Duo2 and a TM 5402 HD M3 that gives me the Tandberg feeds.

My Inverto Black Ultra (duo) which is about 5 years old performs much better than any other LNB I have owned.

I get good results with an OPTI*** Quad LNB LQP-04H - about the same price as the Inverto Quad.

Bought in summer 2016.

Have you tried adjusting the focus of the Lnb, before you spend any money, you may gain a little more. Some Lnbs work better when pulled hard back against the mount,
certainly that is the way my Inverto works on my 1Mtr Dish, other Lnbs I have used over the years, have worked best when moved forward towards the dish. It's all about
illuminating the surface of the dish, too far forward and you do not cover the full surface, too far back and you get spill over on the edges, resulting in extra noise.
If you do go ahead and buy the Inverto Black Ultra, you will not be disappointed.

say 1.2

27kg - looking at putting it on a low wall - less distance to fall on someone's head, and easy to maintain.
