Hi all,

Is it possible to stream a TV picture from my PC Skystar PCI tuner through my local network (hard wired) to my VU Duo (vlc front end) so that I can watch the picture on my large screen TV without any compression or trans-coding?)

The reason I want to do this is so that search for feeds on my Skystar card and stream 442 feeds to my big TV as we know the Vu Duo can’t show the picture for these types of feeds.

If the above is not possible then what about streaming a 442 feed from my Vu Duo to my PC where the picture can be viewed in VLC and then save the stream as a asf or m3u file to then stream back to the Vu Duo using VLC front end to view the picture (as VLC can handle 422 feeds).

I can already watch sopcast web feeds on my Vu Duo, so everything network wise is set up and connected with cat5e cabling.

Any help of solutions with this would be very much appreciated.

Regards,

Kev.

At worst you could save the program and then ftp it to the receiver.

I think doing what you want will depend on your image and what's included.
