But I have to ask as I have not used a Tom Tom abroad before.

I assume that the tom tom display etc does switch to that needed when driving on the right?

I can't believe the answer would be no, thus why I think it's a stupid question.

it just shows u the way, you should know what side of the road to be on!

The TomTom can be set to warn you which side of the road you should be driving on.

I don't need it to tell me what side of the road I should drive on. LOL.

I passed my test in Germany, from nothing to HGV.

I am not a frequent user of Tom Tom so was concerned that it would show as being on the wrong side of the road.

The on and off slip roads and roundabouts show correctly if thats whats worrying you.
