i want to delete all channels to do a rescan for new channels but i have a good fav list and donot want lost this thanks

Just returned from Holiday to find loads of unanswered questions.
The simple answer to your question you cannot keep your Favorites and delete all the channels at the same time of course by factory reset.
If you want to keep your favorite category names then you will have to delete the channels manually.
